What is Traditional Thai Massage?
Traditional Thai Massage originates from the time of the Buddha and serves to correctly align the energies of the body. It combines elements of yoga, universal healing energy, flowing movements, stretches and rhythmic massage to bring balance to the body by focusing on energy lines and pressure points. This type of massage often results in a profound release of stress and tension.
Thai massage is performed with the client comfortably clothed on a Thai massage mat. This massage does not involve the use of oils.
“I had an incredible experience with Lucy! First off, the atmosphere that she set up was very inviting. I felt totally comfortable. I came in with shoulder pain, and by the time I left, my shoulder tension had released. She was careful to ask how deep I wanted the pressure, and checked in throughout the session.
Lucy was attentive, thorough, and skillful at maneuvering my body. I plan to come back to her regularly whenever my body needs a good massage. Highly recommended!”– Marilyn Mai, Naturopathic Doctor
